However, the xorg-edgers fresh X crack PPA is not a software package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. You can add echo IGD > /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch echo OFF > /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch right before exit 0. This lets the system work , with norma fan, heat and battery.
