Try turning Autofilter on and off in the attached file and you will see the date text get pushed out of the cell which is only wide enough for one line of text. This doesn't happen for the cells with simple text in them. It also doesn't happen in Excel with this same spreadsheet. Using Open Office vers. 2.4 under Ubuntu Hardy Heron.
