Title:
Guest session deletes user's files without warning on logout

Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
That the guest session deletes all saved files is unexpected for the user.
Google a bit and you find many stories of users losing data because of this
[1].
There absolutely should be a warning on login and on logout that the files
will be deleted so the user has the chance to save to a thumb drive or dropbox
or whatever.
Again, when you google a bit you find tutorials doing exactly that [2].
