Title:
  Writer saving .odt takes too long (10 seconds)

Status in The OpenOffice.org Suite:
  Invalid
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete
Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

  This is simalar to other bugs reported but I did not see exactly this
  one. IMO this is a feature request: Faster saving please.

  I am editing a 10 page ODF document that I imported from a docx. When
  I press C-s to save it takes about 10 seconds to save. I click C-s
  often, by reflex, but while it is spinning wheels for 10 seconds
  saving I cannot do any work. This is interrupting and discourages
  constant saving.

  ProblemType: Bug
  Architecture: amd64
  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
  Package: openoffice.org-core 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3
  ProcEnviron:
   PATH=(custom, no user)
   LANG=en_NZ.UTF-8
   SHELL=/bin/bash
  SourcePackage: openoffice.org
  Uname: Linux 2.6.28-14-generic x86_64
