I also tried opening a tab from the menu, and that works, but doing it with the hotkey does not. I attempted to try it again after installing the xterm package, and it does behave differently, but still not correctly. After installing xterm, pressing shift-ctrl-t results in another terminal screen being opened, but it is just a large xterm screen rather than a gnome terminal session, and it is NOT opened in a tab, but rather as a full screened window. gnome-terminal version is 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 xterm version is 241-1ubuntu1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/361283/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
