Interesting.

I did a test on Chromium, I found that the "CTRL"+"SHIFT"+"0" in German layout 
(which equals to CTRL-=)
also enlarge the font. It means that Chromium choose to accept it.

Bug description:
  This is re-produced on Precise.

  It's three key to enlarge the font on gnome terminal, which is "CTRL-
  SHIFT- '=' ".

  I think we should make CRTL-"=" also work as it is.

  Also the CTRL- "the plus or minus on the number pad" is not working,
  too. I also think that should works.
