you can perform a pin fixup by early patching using the info of the
removed Fujitsu model

-  fujitsu model
- *  0x14 = headphone/spdif-out, 0x15 = internal speaker,
- *  0x1b = port replicator headphone out
- */

-
-static const struct hda_input_mux alc262_fujitsu_capture_source = {
-       .num_items = 3,
-       .items = {
-               { "Mic", 0x0 },
-               { "Internal Mic", 0x1 },
-               { "CD", 0x4 },

Title:
  no sound/ Speaker issue 12.04

Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I am having critical sound issues since I did the update to 12.x and I
  have been looking on many post to find solution without success.

  I am using a laptop Fujitsu S7110 and just did a fresh install 12.04.
  I did the standard OS update after running the fresh install from the CD and
I don't get any sound from the speakers.

  The Alsa log file can be found here:
  http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=83443eabc64a7d840001f687e9a8634df57226b1

  I am kind of desesperate about this bug and might switch (after
  several years of using Ubuntu) to an other distribution.

  Any help would be welcome.

  Best regards,

  David
