*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1020198 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1020198
For me at least, this problem is not limited to just Firefox or Thunderbird. Seemingly any program that has a window and a right-click menu or drop down menu is affected. I've tested it with Amarok, Natilus, FF, TB, and Transmission. Though, the bug seems to manifest periodically, I can logout/restart and get it to stop. What it looks like is that the right-click-menu is being drawn behind the main window. If the window isn't maximized and the right side of the window is right- clicked, the right-click-menu peeks out the side of the window. I tried to get screen shots, but it appears that PrintScreen doesn't work when a drop-down or right-click menu is open...for me at least. -Joe 12.10 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1026747 Title: 14.0.1: Can't right-click anything; drop-down lists fail Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Yesterday my system updated Firefox from 13.0.1 to 14.0.1. I restarted the browser and could not right-click anything in the browser, pages or tabs or any UI elements. Also, all drop-down lists did nothing when clicked, in the UI or in pages. I downgraded to 13.0.1 and it works fine again.
