Other software responds to touch. And I changed the title of this bug to be less misleading. The buttons in software-center do respond. They accept the touch event and appear depressed. But the view doesn't change. So maybe it's more of an armhf issue than a touch event issue, since the app clearly knows a touch event happened.
** Summary changed: - Category headers don't respond to touches + Category headers don't do anything on nexus7 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to software-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1108236 Title: Category headers don't do anything on nexus7 Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The big category buttons like "All Software" do not seem to respond to touch events on my nexus7. That is, they appear "depressed" but do not change the curremt view at all.
