Thanks Pablo for reporting this issue; it looks like a bug in the application
using Online Accounts, which attempts to use the accounts even when there is no
internet connection.
I think that the google drive lens is the responsible here.

Title:
Online Accounts should try to reconnect Google Account when back
  online

Status in Google Documents Lens:
  Confirmed
Status in “unity-scope-gdrive” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When Ubuntu starts, if a Google Account is set up in Online Accounts
and there's no working Internet connection yet, the Shutdown button
goes red and so does its Online Accounts entry, complaining that
Ubuntu could not connect to that account, and the user has to manually
click the Authorize button. That's all s/he needs to do, so why not do
it automatically after Ubuntu gets connected (and retry from time to
time when already connected, in case of cable modems that which take a
  while to authenticate).
