Create new writer document (may remain empty) 2. Hit Ctrl+F, check "Regular expressions", search for the above foo[^\[:alpha:\]] On my system this will reliably crash soffice.bin. I realize the example regex is probably not a good idea in the first place, but that shouldn't crash the application.
