Title:
flashplugin-installer not being updated in timely fashion for critical
  vulns

Status in “flashplugin-nonfree” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Consider removing this package from Ubuntu repositories entirely and
retroactively if it's not going to be maintained. In addition to the
monthly, timed updates which everyone is already well aware of, Flash
has had a long history of emergency patch releases in response to
  widespread exploitation in the wild.

This week's is just such an emergency release.

  APSB13-04:
  https://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb13-04.html

There is no indication whatever that the Flash runtime will not
continue to be a rich source of major security flaws, or that they
will at some point not affect the Linux-specific build.
