@Dorian: Actually right-resizing with them is really easy. They're designed so you can grab them to resize the right side of the window... don't worry about grabbing the window itself, grab the overlay scrollbar and drag it right/left.

Click on Circle tool and drop one on canvas. Then hold down CTRL and LEFT SHIFT keys simultainously, while hovering over just dropped circle. Then click LEFT mouse button. RESULT: Automatically logged out from Ubuntu. All running work is lost.
