Title:
libreoffice fails to save to smb

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I have smb shares on a western digital my world book NAS
I used the "connect to server" option of the home folder to make a mount to
the NAS.

If I just create a new document in libreoffice (any type it appears) and save
it to the mounted location I get a dialog
  "Error saving the document Untitled1:
  Genral Error.
  General input/ouput error."

If I save this to the desktop, drag and drop it to the folder there is no
issue
If I use gedit to save directly there is no issue.
Dragged and dropped from my desktop, libreoffice documents on the NAS can
then be opened and saved, but not saved to a new name.
