Under the following conditions windows do not fully maximize: a) internal display below external display b) displays not fully aligned vertically but with an offset both left and right If those conditions are met then windows on the external diplay do not maximize any longer. They do maximize vertically but not horizontally. I believe they extend to the right edge of the internal (display). So, let's say the internal display has an offset of one pixel from the external display. This triggers the bug. Both displays are almost aligned left, but only almost. Looking at the maximized windows on the external displays it seems as if they start at 1024+1 pixel horizontally.
