Public bug reported:

Sometimes when I open a file from the Nautilus view, a new window of
GEdit pops up to show it, instead of opening a new tab in the existing
GEdit window.

This is especially annoying because with Unity switching between
different windows of the same app is a PITA.

I can't say what are the steps to reproduce this error. I'm using 12.04

** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
