When the fix lands, you do not need to do anything. You can even remove your workaround via
lpadmin -p E250d -R usb-no-reattach-default as CUPS applies the change automatically for you. Also any new computer you set up with Raring (or newer) will work with your computer out of the box, without applying any workaround. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to cups in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1084164 Title: lexmark e250d needs usb-no-reattach-default=true Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: but doesn't need usb-unidir-default I'm by no means an expert there but found the above while browsing bugs similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1032456 and made good use of the instructions ;) # lsusb Bus 002 Device 002: ID 043d:00f3 Lexmark International, Inc.
