The device is having a hard time scanning, and it seems to be because of some

Title:
  Wireless disconnect on Atheros Communications Inc. AR9285

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  wifi connection on my computer is unstable since installing ubuntu
  13.04

  I lose connection to wifi when I do an rsync or when installing
  packages with apt-get.

  once lost connection, network manager no longer displays the ssid of
  my connection, I see other ssid carefree.

  I enclose my syslog file for debug
