It happens booting from the CD or hard disk installation. I successfully installed Lucid Lynx but with a borrowed display. After I booted, logged in and completely loaded Ubuntu, I changed the borrowed monitor with my monitor and it worked. My monitors works while running Ubuntu 10.04 in failsave graphics mode (which I'm using to reporting this bug). My video chispset is Intel G31, and my display is DELL M770. Is there any more info needed, please let me know. Note: My monitor works without any problem with Ubuntu 9.04. My monitor worked with Ubuntu 9.10 but I couldn't change the screen resolution.
