Ok, thanks Murray. This is the first PPA I have created so I wasn't sure how to give the package a different name so that it would be the preferred version of gvfs. Any tips are welcome. You should still have my version installed as there hasn't been an official release in a while. You can check with the command 'apt-cache policy gvfs' you should have 1.16.1-0ubuntu19
