Adding the Google account to GOA (after removing everything related to
UOA) works for me. I'm using the staging PPA though.

  No way to update Google account credential

Status in “gnome-control-center-signon” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Running Ubuntu Gnome 13.04 + Gnome 3 ppa.

  To enable chat with Empathy, I added my Google account to UOA (GOA
  doesn't enable the chat yet). It works...for a while.

  After few days, the Google credentials get outdated. The issue is
  there is no way to update the credential except to remove the account
  and add it again.
