Hi These are the steps... 1) I take a terminal 2) execute the commad "sudo shutdown -r now" 3) It when to black screen. and these are the logs printed
"The system is going down for reboot now ! acpid: exiting speech dispatcher disabled; edit /etc/default/speech-dispatcher" 4) It is hanging there. nothing is printed after that. So.. I press the power button, system when for shutdown, then again switch it on by pressing the power button.
