Title: ibus-m17n package is not selected even enabling language support for other languages Status in “language-selector” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: ibus When I tried to enable language support for some indic languages (malayalam, sanskrit, tamil etc), by selecting Admin->Language Support and added these languages, the system prompted and installed many packages. This however does not install ibus-m17n package which is necessary to enable writing support using ibus. There is no option to enable this other than manually installing the said package. This is clearly a bug as users are not expected to know which package they need to enable writing support.
