Since recent mesa and kernel update, problem is more obvious/annoying. Now on external display there is observable screen distortion right before or/and after this display goes black.

I tested it with two diffrent monitors and a tv. I think this bug is related to the energy-saving power profiles I observed that changing power profile to "mid" helps a lot. Blinks are very rare but they still occur. On other profiles [default, auto, low, high] blinks occur very often.
