Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

To confirm this, i've done a sha1sum of a file (>700MB) before and after copying it with the nautilus, and usually the nautilus doesn't copy the file well (almost everytime the file is copied wrong). But when i copy the file with the command 'cp' always works fine. I am using nautilus 3.4.2-0ubuntu7 and ubuntu 12.04 Have a nice day To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1192445/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
