The thing is that every Linux I used since 2007 had this problem.  You

  transfer data speed from nautilus to usb decrease constantly

Bug description:
  When copy files to usb the transfer data rate starts at about 25 Mbps and 
decrease constantly to about 3 Mbps or less. 
  At the end, when time left is 0 seconds and data are 100% copied, it remains 
there for about 30 seconds more.
