As I'm just browsing the web, there are short periods of time when the mouse stops moving, but I'm not done with it yet. With a 1 second timeout, ubuntu is much too eager to hide my mouse cursor and the cursor almost appears to blink as I browse. And, given that this is a new feature in jaunty, it's difficult to figure out what's going on. I think a slightly longer delay, even 3 seconds, results in a much more pleasing experience.
