you have to pulseaudio verbose log if there is no control for your fasttrack pro

It's not so, audio input in pulseaudio doesn't give any signal for the microphone's input. In the sound-card it is possible to see that there's a microphone input signal. I upgraded to latest generic 3.5.22 kernel. Something supposed to work that doesn't work still.
