I've been trying to get sound from this card with every single kernel since then with every release of Ubuntu. This is now Ubuntu 13.10 and I still don't have sound with kernel 3.9 and latest firmware. No, there is absolutely no sound from ALSA playback at all. Yes, it is detected by Linux, and I see the modules for CA0132 get loaded, but there is absolutely no sound at all.
