We won't add it to Debian/Ubuntu proper, but you can get builds for
12.04 (which ought to work on 12.10 as well) from
http://apt.postgresql.com.

Title:
Adding version 9.2
Status in “postgresql-common” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
May you please add Postgresql 9.2 to default ubuntu repositories (I'm
using ubuntu 12.10) because many current applications depending on
version 9.2
P.S. there is ppa:pitti/postgresql available but I suppose offering
9.2 by default would be nice
