Title: Lubuntu does not get past the plymouth dots Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Booting a live session of Lubuntu Saucy Alpha 2 desktop 32-bit does not get past the ubiquity dots. When booted without the default options quiet splash I see the following *fail* messages (when starting programs) 1. cups (should not be a show stopper) 2. zRAM (probably not a show stopper) 3. lightdm It is possible to run a text screen with ctrl+alt+F1. It is responsive, several text applications work, also the network.
