As this bug has been there for a long time without activity and for some reason it doesn't show the auto countdown to invalidation after 60 days of beig in "Incomplete" status, I'm manually setting it to invalid. Please feel free to re-open it once the bug found in a currently supported release of Ubuntu or the upstream pkg.

With Compiz off the window is first maximized before it is possible to move it. If I select areas on the desktop sometimes the selected area does not disappear. Also moving the mouse over icons doesn't highlight them. Sometimes I can't choose the icons or anything on the desktop. I have to right click and get a pop up menu before I can click on the desktop again. Moving icons ends up opening up the document or start the program. 3) Should work like this: * Icons should highlight when mouse moves over. * Windows shall not maximize when you move them around. * Desktop should be refreshed and cleaned when an area is selected. * Programs should not start when trying to move the icon. Documents should not open when trying to move icon.
