Well, it requires an upstream UI change. It's not something we're going
to be changing

Title:
  "Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0" doesn't make sense

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Firefox 3.5.2, Ubuntu Karmic alpha 4
  Firefox 7.0.1, Ubuntu 11.10 beta

  1. From the "Help" menu, choose "About".

  What you see:
  * "Firefox version 3.5.2"
  * "Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0"

  What's wrong with this:
  * "canonical" is not capitalized.
  * There's no such thing as "Ubuntu canonical".
  * It uses a hyphen for a non-hyphen role.
  * It's not clear what, exactly, "1.0" refers to in contrast with the "3.5.2",
"7.0.1", or whatever.

  What you should see:
  * "Firefox version 3.5.2", "Firefox version 7.0.1", etc
  * "Canonical customizations for Ubuntu v1.0" or similar.
