try hda-jack-sense-test to verify the nodes of line out, headphone ,
line in and (mic ???)  by plug and unplug

espeically check whether Line Out support jack detection or not

seem only axet 's Mac pro5,1 pin default has this mic (strange that headphone 
and mic are at ext rear ) at the same location of line in and line out ( there 
are four jacks at same location in some notebook which support 7.1)
