you have to post the pulseaudio verbose log

did the crackling occur when capture volume is over 0dB ?

  Internal mic doesn't work on Dell mini 1010.

  The internal mic doesn't work at all on cold boot. After reloading
  alsa, sound is recorded by with lots of static.  Changing Mic Boost or
  Capture levels didn't help.
