Title: Network Manager/ indicator once wifi is dropped and 3g takes over you can't get wifi back as the main radio Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Scenario: Your AP dies, You leave the house, You diasable wifi. 3g is enabled so takes over, your wifi is reconnected but 3g is still the main radio receiver in use. Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable wifi and 3g 2. Open a browser and search whats my ipaddress 3. Disable wifi 4. Open a browser and search whats my ipaddress 5. Enable wifi 6. Open a browser and search whats my ipaddress Step 2 is correct and displays my wifi ip address, step 4 is correct and shows my 3g ipaddress, step 6 still shows my 3g ipaddress Temp work around: Diassable 3g then reenable it, this makes wifi the main radio reciever again.
