Confirmed on 13.04. gnome-disks is pretty much unusable, can't even format a USB flash drive. gparted has no issues doing so.

I remember that it didn't work in precise pangolin too. On previous versions it destroyed 2 or 3 times my hd mbr after a simple removal of a partition. It looks like an incredibly buggy and extrimely dangerous piece of software.. It could be because we have udsisk and udisk2 installed in parallel.
