chokes on /var/lib/lightdm/.gvfs

Bug description:
This happened while upgrading from 13.04 to 13.10 via aptitude. The
post-installation script of lightdm 1.8.2-0ubuntu1 tries to change the
owner of the directory /var/lib/lightdm recursively. Unfortunately,
this directory harbours a Gvfs related mount point
(/var/lib/lightdm/.gvfs) whose owner can't be changed this way. The
post-installation script exits with an error, leaving lightdm
unconfigured.
Workaround: Unmount /var/lib/lightdm/.gvfs manually and restart the
dist-upgrade.
I experienced the same error while upgrading from 12.10 to 13.04. Do
you guys actually read the bug reports?
