Title: Unable to view menu strip Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Clean install of Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 with ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3 and ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-next PPAs added. Installed Thunderbird and configured account. Unable to view File, Edit, View etc menus. Restart application. Still unable to view. Tried Global Application menu titled Thunderbird Mail. Only option is to Quit. Hit ALT+F Menu strip appears. Removing focus from menubar hides it again. Not accessible via mouse.
