Title:
Large gray area when file is edited outside gedit

Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
In Saucy, when a file is opened in gedit, and that file is edited
outside gedit, a prompt appears if I want to reload the file or not.
This is fine. However, above the prompt, there is a large gray area.
If the prompt appears multiple times, the gray area may increase and
  cover half the window.

This did not occur in Raring.
