Hi,

It seems that I could temperally fix it:

I did try the followed command: start unity-panel-service
This ws giving me back the toolbar at top.
Then I did automated this task, it keeps working in the Gnome Flashback modus,
but when you now logoff and try again the other modus Gnome Flashback (No
Effects) then it is there not working annymore. If I disable again the
automated command, then it works back in the No effects Gnome Flashback but not
again annymore into the normal Gnome Flashback.

I run already from ubuntu 12.04 on this notebook and never problems..I think
this upgrade is still some buggy at some points?
Is there a command that i can execute so that it will work both (Gnome
Flashback & Flashback no effects)?

Thanx & best regards,
Frederik

Title:
  Troubles after update from 13.04 to 13.10

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Hi,

  When I did update the system from 13.04 (unity sidebar stuff did work fine)
to release 13.10, I see mine login prompt and after fill in the password I get
Black Screen.
  The notebook is 1810TZ Acer Aspire.

  It has probally something todo with the graphic card: type of card is =
Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset x86/MMX/SSE2
  CPU = Genuine Intel® CPU U4100 @ 1.30GHz × 2
  Type OS installed = 32-bit
  RAM = 2Gig

  I don't know why the effects wouldn't work after update from 13.04 to
  13.10.

  Do I need todo a manually update from driver or do I need todo some
  commands before I can let work it again?

  Thanx & best regards,
  Frederik
