Bug description:
The LaTeX packages contained in this Ubuntu package, texlive-latex-base, are
completely out of date!
Just one example, in CTAN the geometry package found it's from 2010 and the
one that my Ubuntu has it from the year 2005
Latest version in CTAN can be found here:
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/geometry
You can check your geometry version in Ubuntu with the following command:
locate geometry.sty|xargs less
Unfortunately it's not the first time I have this problem, I'm sorry
most LaTeX stuff is terribly outdated
