Public bug reported:

I updated my 13.10 to 14.04.
In GNOME FlashBack (metacity) I get gnome-panel without clock and logout
buttons.

If I try to launch gnome-panel manually with gnome-panel --replace I get
the following messages in console:

(gnome-panel:8898): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_accelerator_parse_with_keycode:
assertion 'accelerator != NULL' failed

** (gnome-panel:8898): WARNING **: Unable to parse mouse modifier
'(null)'

(gnome-panel:8898): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_accelerator_parse_with_keycode:
assertion 'accelerator != NULL' failed

** (gnome-panel:8898): WARNING **: Unable to parse mouse modifier
'(null)'

*** BUG ***
In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed
Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug

then panel starts and looks like before (<=13.10).
