Title:
evolution always using spamassasin binary rather than spamc (even when
  there is a spamd process)

Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
The evolution spamassassin (filter for evolution 2.3.5.1 in breezy) refuses to
make use of a running spamd and use spamc to filter spam. One of the issues
seems to be that the plugin looks for the spamc binary in /usr/sbin (line 84
of
em-junk-filter.c) but fixing that does not solve the problem.
