Title:
Problem to print PDF file with Evince

Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When I try to print some pdf file from Evince, my printer print blank page.
  My system is:
Ubuntu 13.04 64 bit (clean installation)
Konica Minolta magicolor 4695MF with PPD from Konica.
I had the same problem with Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit.
  I performed the following test:
  a) From Evince, Print to file and save as PDF, then try to print from evince
the saved pdf - output is blank page
  b) From Evince, Print to file and save as PS, then try to print from evince
the saved ps - output is blank page
  c) Print the original PDF from command line lpr -o raw filename.pdf - file is
printed fine

Same problem occurs in libreoffice if, in the printer type language option
dialog box, I leave the default (Automatic:PDF).
I have to manually set it to Postscript Level 2 or 3 to print my documents.
(Problem resolved setting postscript as default with spadmin).

I think there is a bug in cups filter or cairo/poppler when processing
  a file.
