I have the same issue, version of chrome and version of ubuntu but is voyager xubuntu
3 other notes: 1 When a video won't play and says "This video is currently unavailable", I can, so far without exception, click on another video link, let that page partially load, hit the back button and when I'm back the video will play. 2 For videos that do play, either normally or by the trick in note 1, if I navigate to another tab and return to the youtube tab I will see the video for a split second then it will go to black, audio continues, no player controls, ads, nothing, just a black box. I have to refresh if I wish to see video again. 3 Playlists are disfunctional.
