Smarteralec, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-input-evdev REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
  Mouse-wheel scrolling backwards

Status in NULL Project:
  Invalid
Status in “xserver-xorg-input-evdev” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Approx May 13 or 14 (daily builds) and continuing on May 15 (today) the
mouse-wheel scrolling function is reversed - scroll-up goes down, scroll-down
goes up, in Aurora 14.0a2
HOWEVER - this probably NOT a Firefox/Aurora bug, as it also happens in two
other apps, LibreOffice Writer and Evince Document Viewer... just wanted you
guys to be aware, as I check out the issue in detail. Main Ubuntu apps
(Nautilus, Software Centre) are scrolling normally.

  Firefox 14.0~a2~hg20120514r94250-0ubuntu1~umd1
  Ubuntu 12.0+build1-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 0
