Bug description:
  14.04 (Trusty) now has gedit 3.10.1 and GTK 3.10.6.  With these
  versions of gedit and GTK, the file browser in the sidebar (enabled
  via Edit->Preferences->Plugins->File Browser Panel) has a toolbar with
  a dark background color in the default Ambiance theme.  This looks
  poor (see attached screenshot).
