Public bug reported: Release: Ubuntu 13.10 x64 Device should be mounted as mass storage (not mtp-device --> ums - usb mass storage mode). Instead Ubuntu thinks its a BCM21553-Thunderbird from Broadcom an tries to mount it as mtp-device --> no access to internal / external sd-card of this device.
Strangely enough it was mounted one time correctly: (see syslog) "udisksd[1979]: Mounted /dev/sdc1 at /media/caroline/C0A5-1BEA". ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: saucy ** Attachment added: "dmsg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1269339/+attachment/3949337/+files/dmsg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1269339 Title: SAMSUNG S5830i (GALAXY Ace) not mounted as usb mass storage Status in “gvfs” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Release: Ubuntu 13.10 x64 Device should be mounted as mass storage (not mtp-device --> ums - usb mass storage mode).
