Title:
  HDMI display failure in 13.10

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I've been using an HDMI chord to connect my laptop to the TV with
Windows and it hasn't had problems, but once I tried this with Ubuntu,
I experienced what seems to be a bug: when the connection happens,
only the home screen (and mouse movement) of my pc appears on the TV,
no other application or function displays. I found no answers about
this on the internet, so I'm assuming this is a new error?
